About Us

StaffBalance was founded in 2007 by Ciaran McGowan, a Trinity College Dublin Management and Computer Science graduate. Prior to establishing StaffBalance, he worked as a software designer, business analyst and principle consultant for Eontec, Fineos and latterly IIBBank.

Ciaran is the inventor of a business performance tracking tool that provides fact, depth and visibility of real costs, profitability drivers and operational efficiencies. Ciaran’s unique simulation modeling tools have saved the StaffBalance customer base over €1.5 million in costs. StaffBalance customers include Bord Gais, KBC Bank, Zurich and the Blood Transfusion Board.

Fiona Flynn is an experienced sales professional with over 16 years sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining StaffBalance, Fiona was Head of Sales in eircom.net. Fiona previously worked with BBN Planet New York as an Account Manager. Fiona holds a B.Sc. (Mgmt) from TCD, Diploma in professional Selling from the Sales Insititute/DIT and is a member of the Sales Institute of Ireland.

Romualdas is an experienced IT Business Development Manager with a background in Management and Finance. He’s been working with some of the largest Eastern Europe IT companies & has been a catalyst in introducing several world-class vendors to the Baltic states market, including Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) and EMC (NYSE:EMC).

Romualdas has also managed a specialist import & distribution company and played a key role in the sale of the business. An avid chess player since age six, he also graduated music school (piano) with honours & was a laureate of several national competitions.

Rachel is a scholarship graduate of Trinity College Dublin in management science and has worked in marketing, business development, product development and sales for the banking industry for twenty years.

Working with some of Ireland’s most prominent brands including Ulster Bank and AIB Bank, Rachel specialises in business to business marketing.

Rachel Killeen is author of the book Client Science – The Five Cs Marketing Plan for Professionals (Chartered Accountants Ireland May 2010).
